The time has come to transform our lands of EGN Craft into ruin and start new. Assemble your belongings and pack them up tight (In the Vault) for the adventure of a lifetime. Prepare your factions and ready your swords to survive the End of the World...... Sunday, May 26, 2013 the world of EGN Craft will end. Will you survive the downfall of EGN Craft or will you fight and rise up to see the new beginnings of our server.
The current map will by ending on Sunday evening. There are many things that you and your faction will need to do to be ready for the End of the World.
1. PM Chubbycurls on the forums if you are a donator of $10 or more and want your base copied for the new map. Do this by Friday at Midnight CST so that I have all Saturday to save everyone's base that wishes to keep it.
2. Pack up your two double chests of items for your faction in the vault and make sure that your donator chests follow the rules within the donator area. If you do not yet have your faction chests make sure that you request them from an Advisor or Leader within the server.
3. Prepare to make sure that you and your faction members will be online on Sunday at some point to survive the End of the World.
4. Be at the EGN Meeting on Saturday to hear any updates for the EGN Craft server and updates on this event!!!
What will be happening after the world ends:
1. A temporary map will be put into place for people to play on until 1.6. Events will still happen day to day on this temp map.
2. As soon as 1.6 comes out we will update the temp map and have the new map added.
3. Many changes are to come with the new map! Better prices in the stores, better perks for donators and a better server all around!
We have taken in your recommendations and have completely transformed the server. Can't wait to reveal the new workings of our server and hope that you enjoy the coming events!

Hello EgN!
X3x33 And I have decided on our newest event team members! The higher-ups have decided to start fresh with a new Events Team due to inactivity in the past. We have received some excellent applicants and it was a very hard decision. We have decided on three new members to fill up the slots and help us in administering our events.
Also, We have been discussing some great ideas and the next event will be starting by next week! Oh shit son! We will keep you guys updated as always!
If you did not make the cut, don't be discouraged. The events team is always looking for helpers and ideas! And if we see you are active and a particular member becomes inactive there will a spot for you. Activity is an absolute must for our team!

Congrats to those who were accepted! We hope we made the best decision possible with you guys, and again thanks to everyone who applied
I would also like to mention pretzL, who will be helping us and has been showing great support.
Other than that, thanks for all the applicants. Twas a tough choice. Look forward to having some really good fun with us. And event or not, try to have fun in our servers!

Hello EgN!
The events team apologizes for the recent and sudden inactivity. We have planned some great events to take place in the near future! Again we apologize about the recent activity, and we have decided to SCRAP the soccer tournament. But have no fear! We are confident we can get some events going by late this month, or early next month.
Since Cats is on an LOA, it has been decided that me and x3x33 will take over the events team! We promise to get things up on it's feet and to get some fun and superb events.

- EgN members will be able to vote on which event they would like to held next! We will have a vote, and the winner of the listed events, will be the next one hosted.
Example:
Event 1: 5 votes
Event 2: 4 votes
Event 3: 10 votes
we would select event 3, because that was the most popular out of the vote. This way we ensure we pick the best events for EgN, and events members will show up to.
- Weekly Minecraft Events. The higher-ups of the Minecraft server will be putting together weekly events and minigames! Make sure you are on the server. For more details ask

We will try our best to help populate and include all servers. The events team will look for creative ways to get servers populated. The events team will be looking to create events in every server! So if you have any idea's for any of them let us know.

Recently I've had to deal with more people exploiting or cheating in the EgN-Minecraft server.
Even some high-ranking people within the community have been giving into temptation and using glitches and exploiting problems within Minecraft to have advantage over other's. People who are supposed to be leading those below them and setting examples have been caught in the act of cheating.
But much like any person willing to use unfair advantages, the people who use them reason that others must be using these things as well, others must be compromising their honor to use these things to get advantage over others.
EgN has always had "No Cheating/Hacking/Glitching/Exploiting" rule in every server it has ever run, and almost every other community and gaming-clan also shares this simple rule. Its something most people understand and so they don't ever compromise and they play fairly, the way multiplayer games mean for it to be. Any advantage in games now is earned or worked for.
Player 1 who's played in the server for months and has awesome things and earned them the legit way deserves what they have earned and the advantage over other who haven't put enough time and effort into the server. This isn't cheating or exploiting, its earned advantage and its how all games work and how life works. If you go to school for years and put real effort into being smart and getting a good job, then its only right when you succeed and get the fancy cars and houses or diamond armor or fancy bases.
But player 2 who's only played a few times in server hates player 1 because they think its not fair that Player 1 should be able to do things and have things over player 2. They are ignorant of the fact that its only their fault that they haven't put in the time and effort of Player 1 has to get those things, obviously both want the nice stuff but only Player 2 doesn't want to work and put forth effort.
So Player 2 Exploits and Glitches and compromises his honor to get a leg-up on Player 1, he might even reason it out as though its smarts and just different knowledge that Player 1 does not exploit or cheat. But once someone cheats and admits they don't want to work for their honest benefit then they will always be looking for the come-up or some cheap way to better himself. They also begin to reason cheating out and their idea of right and wrong will become murky and they will begin to reason that the rules against cheating and lying are just stupid and made to just punish people like them.
This is a Kindergarten lesson and normally I wouldn't post about something so simple and easy, but I need to get across that EgN doesn't tolerate it and will make no compromises to cheaters and hackers and exploiters. Since my first time playing online competitively I have never once attempted to cheat or exploit others honesty, I will not allow myself to do that at all. I swear to each of you that I hold myself to my own rules, and that I will always.
This I swear, as Leader, and as a honest man.
If you expect to go far in this community and in life then I say this with all sincerity and conviction: DO NOT CHEAT YOURSELF OR OTHERS, DO NOT COMPROMISE EVEN ONCE ON THIS. THIS GOES ACROSS TO ALL EGN SERVERS AND MEMBERS.

| Minecraft - Team deathmatch - Event |

PvP Slaughterfest event!
EgNCraft is hosting another event. We're setting up a pre-made map to engage in some serious PvP action!
The map will remain a secret until the event, muhaha, but I can guarantee it'll be a blast. It'll be a team deathmatch type game, but the teams will not be pre-defined. You simply join which ever team you wish to join. Administrators of the game reserve the right to force players into a team-switch should they become unbalanced.
How does it work?
This is a team-deathmatch type gamemode. However, the prizes will not go to a collective victorious team. A winner will be decided by a kill-tally. Whoever kills the most players wins!
What rewards will be given?
First place will receive the Coal donation rank!
Second place will recieve his or hers pick of two (2) enchanting books of maximum tier!
Third place will receive 64 diamonds and 10000 ingame money!
There will also be a randomly drawn prize for two participating individuals. The best prize is a surprise! Har-har.
How many people can play?
The map is fairly large, so I doubt we will fill it up. However, a maximum may be set at 24 players, but then again it might not see any cap! Regardless, a first-come-first-serve basis is always present. Be there early!
Do I need my own gear!!?!?!?!
No, everything you will need will be given to you upon your choice of class, including weapons, health-packs and team-suits.
What time is the event?
The event will be on the 10th of May at 10pm GMT. That's 5 PM EST and 4 PM CST
What do!?!?
* Three stages, each with two control points
* Attackers (Blue team) must capture control points in order
* Defenders (Red team) are trying to run out the clock before attackers capture both points
Place your items into your chests before you get teleported!
All players that are on the server will be teleported to play the event.
Simply join, and upon spawn-arrival, choose your team. From there, go into the designated booth and choose your class. You'll spawn inside the map with your full set of gear. If you die, you respawn! Games are played for a set duration, so have fun!
